KARIN VAN OS

Originally from the Netherlands, Karin van Os has been living and working in the South of France since 2005. Art has been at the core of her life for over thirty years. She draws her inspiration from the Mediterranean light, the colors of the French Riviera, and the warm atmosphere of Provence.

Karin works mainly with acrylics, which she combines with natural materials such as wood and burlap. Layering, textures, and relief give her artwork a tactile, contemporary dimension. Warm, natural tones dominate her palette, often punctuated by red—a true thread running through her artistic universe.

Her background in interior design feeds her sense of color, materials, and space. Today, her works can be found in private collections and projects both in France and internationally.

As a founding member of The Art Collective Côte d’Azur, Karin works alongside two other artists to organize exhibitions bringing together male and female artists on the French Riviera and abroad. The collective fosters connections centered on art, culture, and creation.
